The Foster parents, Friends and Religious of Casa Miani Singing Sarung Banggi -A traditional bikol song
Sarung banggi sa higdaan
Nakadangog ako nin huni nin sarung gamgam
Sa luba ko katorogan
Bako kundi simong boses iyo palan
Sa luba ko katorogan
Bako kundi simong boses iyo palan
Dagos ako bangon si sakuyang mata iminuklat,
sa tahao nin kadikloman ako nangalagkalag
Si sakong pagheling pasiring sa itaas
simong lawog nahiling kong maliwanag

One Evening
One evening as in bed I lay
I heard a plaintive song of bird that spurns the light of day,
At first I thought it was a dream,
But soon I knew it was no dream for it was you.
And then still half asleep from my warm cozy bed I did rise,
And tried the darkness deep to pierce with my straining eyes,
Then I looked around I chanced my eyes to raise,
And saw in glorious radiance your lovely face.

With joyful hearts our community, CASA MIANI " Augusta & Piera" welcomes Fr. General Most Rev. Fr. Franco Moscone for his canonical visit. Fr. General was elected in the 136th General Chapter held on March, 2008 in Rome..
One of our little ones, Joel, hang a decorative necklace made of Shells as we welcomes Fr. Franco Moscone
He was accompanied by Fr. Gabriele Scotti, major superior of the Province of Southeast Asia and Fr. Pierluigi Vajra, his interpreter, who is presently assigned in Sri Lanka
Our boys were so excited too of seeing again Fr. Gabriele.
The religious brothers Thas, Ruel & Dexter were introduced to Fr. General.
Fr. Javier San Jose, our Director introduces our boys to Fr. General and to Fr. Pierluigi.
Just to clarify to everybody Fr. Pierluigi requested Fr. Javier to tell our boys that he is not Fr. Giovanni Borali, Many times he was mistaken by casa miani boys that he is Fr. Giovanni Borali because of their face resemblance.
With smiling faces our boys felt the warm presence of our dear Fr. General who traveled from far to see how wonderful the casa miani children are.
Fr. Gabriele was so proud to talk about these children
And so Fr. Javier too
