We celebrated the life and the goodness of St. Jerome Emiliani on his feast day and Solemenity on Feb 8,St Jerome is the founder of the Clerics Regular of Somasca and the Universal Patron Saint of the Orphans and needy children, We give honor to his legacy , setting aside his own riches and royalty just to be with children who are in need most.
The feast day was attended by our foster parents, benefactors, neighbors, lay people, children and religious of Somascan Sisters and Jardin de Maria and of course by our own boys in Casa Miani and its staff.
The Mass started at 6:00 in the evening, after the mass we gathered together for a dinner. The feast day of St. Jerome is one of the most awaited and celebrated events in the Somascan Community.
